Once again I've lost my way.
Going nowhere fast, I dread the return.
Spend my days in this self-made cage.
Where my soul can dwell,
and my loneliness is thriven far to well.
All and none of the answers I've found.
Alone I stand on hollow ground.
Too many years have passed.
Too much blood has been spilt.
I realize it's my destiny, my will.
Things aren't always what they seem
As the scars on my skin will show
On hollow ground I stand
On hollow ground repent
The sins were mine. I'm gone, I know.
Dazed and weakened by the haze.
Went nowhere fast, I dread the return.
I've lost my ways, am I losing my mind?
Maybe then my redemtion's there to find.
Amaizing shot!
I love the B&W and the contrast you used... The fog is mysticising the whole atmosphere and gives a fairy look to the picture. Looks like an old tale...
Awesome!!!
Wow, great atmosphere! Personally I would have liked it better without the board, but I can imagine it also fits the mood very well. Plus, it's difficult to remove such a thing, eh?

I can imagine. In a way the same as with writing: though I know (especially after some critique) what the flaws of my pieces are, I still keep them as they are.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
